Buenas Tardes Familia!
Ok so as of right now I am studying the Book of Mormon for the second time on my mission and am in 1Nephi 14 so I will continue to update my foundings and scripture log for y'all. As far as health goes............ well it goes. A crazy thing happened this week Mexico was replaced over night with Forks Washington! It rained like no other this week and just made me so sad because the sun is warm and bright and the rain is cold! Anyways this week my companion got a pretty bad eye infection but only in one eye so she recieved the nickname of "quasy modo" from the hunchback of notre dame, from the zone. It was a little funny to be honest because she always teases me about not being able to eat certain things so I think that this may have been a little Karma but hey thats just me! So we had to travel to the doctor for her eye and it was on a really rainy day of course and we were making sure to be extra careful.......i know what your thinking OH NOOOO!......Well your right oh no happened. As we were walking with our little umbrella and jumping puddles a lovely bus drove just a little to close to us and soaked us from head to toe. To make things worse no busses and taxis would stop for us because we were so wet. Eventually a very nice man let us in his taxi and we were able to get to the doctor but the doctor wouldnt let us come in without shaking off a little first kind of like dogs...hahha.
Anyways I regret not taking pictures this day (Friday) because it was a day that you only see in movies. So all day long our house didnt have water because sometimes it hates us and refuses to have water in it so thats always so fun. and well we returned to our house tired, soaked, and dead to the world and my companion starts up the stairs to use the bathroom and tells me in english in a horrified voice "Uh Hermana Jammet we have water here" WHAT!!!! We have water in the house WHY!! And well apparently in our confusion with the faucets not having water we had left them on and when the water came back it flooded our house. We literally had water all upstairs in the kitchen to clean with a mop and a window cleaner. It was actually a really funny experience and fun experience but also a crummy way to end the day!
Anyways that about sums up my week! For a spiritual experience we had stake conference and about 40 of us missionaries sang in a choir with 11 members and the spirit was really strong. The talks given really inspired me and gave me hope and power for the week to come, and although we didnt have many less actives and investigators as usual it turned out to be a really good day nonetheless. Also today I really felt like drawing so I found a cartoon form of the picture with Jesus and the children and so I drew the cartoon form for fun today! so thats what the drawing is!
I love you all and hope your week is full of sunshine and rainbows and unicorns that poop butterflies (the unicorn part is from dispicable me haha)
