Also i had a couple of traumatizing things happen this last week in vallejo that kind of put me feeling bummy.... the other day we were in service at a church and when i left my camera wasnt in my bag anymore and it still hasnt been found.... and it had all my pictures from 7 months. and then saturday we were walking and a random guy on a bike was passing by and grabbed my butt hard and then was about to come back to do who knows what to me and my companion when we ran and took cover in a members house, but it made me feel a little dirty and demoralized. More than anything im just glad to be in a different area. its alot safer because its close to the mtc and alot of church offices.
Just when you think you are safe.....my companion and i got robbed in my first week in our new area crazy right?! It was actually funny what happened so we were walking to get to a members house and a guy on a motor scooter blocked the path so we couldnt pass and was like " hey girls this is a robbery give me all you have" and so my companion starts handing him her contacting cards and planner and the guy asks "do you have money or something?" and we were like ya we have 10 pesos and his response was "for reals only 10 pesos? are you kidding me? uhh well dont worry about it keep it...well actually give it to me ill by a snack or something with it.." and then he left it was actually really funny because he was by far the worst criminal i have ever met because he only asked my companion for money and it was like 3 in the afternoon and he didnt even have a weapon like they do in the movies.
So that was funny God i guess was protecting us so that it didnt turn out worst then it could have. so ya no need to worry mom haha
it was funny the other day an elder and his companion were super intensly involved with something when we went to go see what it was it was a star wars pen... and i couldnt help but think that will be seb a couple years from now on his mission searching for cool star wars toys haha. and no it was a little shocking that we got robbed because we are in one of the safest areas of the mission but not traumatizing it was really just kind of funny and surprising and afterwards we had a good laugh about it with my companion and the bishops wife..hey the other day we went and ate with the bishop and his wife and they both speak perfect english and lived in utah for a while and so they made lasagna and it was to die for it was almost like eating at home again i was so happy! and then she had a chocolate cake that actually tasted like chocolate vineager cake and i wanted to cry i was so happy!
hey for family home evening read alma 8 and everytime it says alma put the name of a missionary in the mission or in your ward and then when it says almulek put your name in it and then try to figure out the meaning of it all... love you guys alot and ill see you next week!!!!!!!!
