Well I actually have some news.....I was in my last interview with President Hall and we were talking about the ward and my companionship with hermana Muñoz and then all the sudden President asked if he could ask me a question and its unusual for him to ask the questions....he asked "Hermana Jammet are you ready to lead the companionship this next change?.....i had to think for a minute and then i said YES! Then he said, "I know you are hna and i know you will be a great Sr Companion so after hermana Muñoz leaves you will be leading your companionship."
So thats pretty exciting he didnt tell me if i was training or not but i will be leading the companionship this next little while and its so crazy because all the other sister missionaries who had time and were like the "oldies" of the mission are heading home in a week with my companion and now my generation are the "oldies" who have the least amount of time in the mission and i feel like i just barely got in the mission so its weird to talk to new missionaries and hear them say they have 2 or 3 months and then to say 11 months because they just look at you like "WOW your almost done!" and it makes me want to cry and dance at the same time haha. I hope that made sense, haha.
Right now with hermana muñoz finishing her mission we are trying to speak in tu form so i can learn it and she can get used to it haha. and things are going better with her i have just been trying all and everything i can to not fight or cause tension and its been going well this morning i helped her pack and gave her a going away present and i also paid for her travel to the pyramids of mexico because she comes from a very poor family and i mean very poor and so after the mission on the last day they get to go to the pyramids but it costs 200$ pesos to go and she didnt have the money so i paid for her so she could have that experience.
I didnt think this would be really long email but it kinda is hu? O well Well i hope everything is good on the homefront and that your vacation was nice you needed one dad your grey hairs are starting to turn white....na just kidding! hehehe Love you lots!
