The other fotos im sure your all thinking the same thing i did when i got to this house...."when did the tornato hit!?" The lady who lives here is 50 years old and lives by herself and her house is impossible to enter in because there are things everywhere! And i was lucky enough to be outside on fence painting duty, but let me tell y'all the screams from the elders inside was pretty hilarious. The lady who lives here has haad problems with her health both mentally and physically for the past 5 years and apparently what happened is that many people beat her in the street, and she got really traumatized and couldnt function normally afterwards. And we as a zone could not finish the house was such a disaster but we did what we could and she thanked us in the end by singing a song so that was nice.
We are now 2 weeks in with my companion who has been in the mission for a little less than a month with the MTC and she has been a member for 2 years so shes amazing! She has such a bright smile and energy about her that its fun to work with her and teach and learn so much every day. She is from Panama and her brothers just got baptised this past week so that was exciting for us both! Lately what we have been doing here in mexico is trying to find more people to teach and the other day we were talking about the power of the Restoration of the Gospel and with conference coming up here this week we had the womens session the other night and the spirit was so strong even though not many people were there i could feel the truth of the talks and messages. The spirit was so strong during the songs i could help but cry because it testified again to me that this church is true. I encourage you all to pray and watch conference with a question in mind and watch how God will answer your prayers i know He is listening we just have to open our mouths.
Love you all and keep warm and dry wherever you are!
